Hot on the heels of last weeks 'Unleashed' event, Apple this week begin delivering their hotly-anticipated new MacBook Pro range to customers across the globe.
And it seems Apple listened to its Pro customers this year, bringing back the coverted Magsage power adapter, SD Card reader and HDMI port, alongside the usual USB-C. Gone is the misunderstood and often overlooked touch bar.
Under the hood, Apple has seriously upped the anty in terms of mobile performace for its pro users. The M1 Max chip promises desktop-level CPU and GPU power, while using a fraction of the energy of its competitors, real-world testing remaings to be seen, but we're excited to see how these will perform.
Alongside its familiar enclousre (think polycarbonate MacBook or the PowerBook G4's of years gone by), apple have pumed into this impressive device an equally impressive display system. The Pro Display XDR includes Apple's first foray into 120hz pro-motion in a laptop, something we're excited to see with our own eyes.
One thing this model does not include is the same Nano Texture coating the Pro Display sports. If you're dissapointed about the lack of the Nano Texture coating, take a look at the Optic+ Anti-Glare Screen Protectors we stock for both the 14inch and 16inch models. These screen protectors are great at reducing bright light and glares and provide a similar finish to that of the Nano Texture coating.
We also have a range of Nano Glass protectors for both the 14inch and 16inch models. These provide a great level of screen protection, while being almost totally invisible.
